Police forces were mobilised following a report of two hooded individuals approaching a bank in Kiti, Larnaca.

Shortly after 2 p.m. today, officers in the Larnaca area were notified of suspicious activity near a financial institution in the Kiti area.
According to reporting by PhileNews, staff at the premises observed two unknown individuals, whose faces were covered, emerging from a sedan-type vehicle. These individuals were carrying sports-style bags and approached the entrance of the building. The premises remained closed thanks to the access control system.
After a short period of time, the unknown individuals returned to their vehicle and disappeared.
Police from the local station, members of the Larnaca Crime Detection Department and patrol vehicles arrived immediately at the scene. The area around the branch was cordoned off and an investigation began to locate those involved.
The authorities are continuing their investigation to identify the individuals who appeared at the scene.
