Baton attack in Larnaca: three injured by group of 30 people
Approximately 30 people attacked supporters of a sports club with batons in Larnaca. Three men were hospitalised, one of whom was transferred to Nicosia.

Three men were injured just after midnight following an attack carried out by a group of approximately 30 people in the area of the auxiliary grounds of a sports club in Larnaca, according to Politis.
The attack took place during a celebratory event for supporters of the club. The perpetrators approached those present and attacked them with batons.
The three injured men are aged 21, 23 and 28 years old. The 23-year-old was struck on the arm and the 28-year-old on the head; both were transferred to Larnaca General Hospital, from which they were later discharged. The 21-year-old, who was injured in the face, is hospitalised at Nicosia General Hospital. His condition is considered to be out of danger.
The Larnaca Police is investigating cases of assault, injury and possession of offensive weapons.
