The District Court of Famagusta issued a seven-day remand in custody order against an 18-year-old who was arrested at Larnaca airport. The young man is the fourth suspect in a case of grievous assault and infliction of serious bodily injury on a 47-year-old man, an incident that occurred in an area of Famagusta district.
According to information from Politis, the Crime Investigation Department of the area continues its investigations. The four suspects in total are being investigated for serious offences connected with the incident.
The arrest of the 18-year-old was carried out yesterday at the airport. This is the fourth person brought in in relation to this particular case. The police authorities are examining both the infliction of serious bodily injury and attempted infliction of serious bodily injury against the 47-year-old.
