Larnaca: Man held for 8 days on drug and weapons charges
A court in Larnaca ordered the remand in custody of a 57-year-old man for eight days, following his arrest by prosecuting authorities in an operation against organised crime.
Police officers discovered at the premises they searched a firearm with seven magazines, improvised explosive devices, a quantity of gunpowder, as well as various substances. Specifically, approximately 210 grammes of plant cannabis, approximately 70 grammes of cocaine, approximately 5 grammes of cannabis resin and two packages of cannabidiol were seized. Two electronic precision scales and 40,000 euros in cash were also found.
