Three unknown attackers robbed a 23-year-old food delivery driver in Limassol, beating him with sticks and stealing his motorcycle, a sum of money and two mobile phones.
The incident occurred yesterday at approximately 9:50 p.m. in the Kato Polemidia area, whilst the young man was riding his motorcycle. According to police, three individuals he did not know approached him, attacked him physically and then fled with the stolen items.
From the attack, the 23-year-old sustained injuries to his abdominal area and right hand. He was taken to Limassol General Hospital, where he received first aid and was discharged.
During investigations, police authorities located the victim's motorcycle abandoned in an open field in the Limassol area.
The Crime Detection Department of Limassol is continuing investigations to locate and arrest the perpetrators.
