A 29-year-old food delivery driver was assaulted by two unknown individuals in Nicosia, who stole cash and a mobile phone from him before fleeing on his motorcycle.

A 29-year-old man who works as a food delivery driver fell victim to an armed robbery in Nicosia on Wednesday afternoon. The incident occurred around 5:20 p.m., whilst the man was carrying out a delivery.
According to Police, two individuals whose identities remain unknown attacked the delivery driver. The perpetrators managed to take an unspecified sum of money as well as his mobile phone, before fleeing the scene of the incident using the victim's motorcycle.
Authorities have launched an investigation to clarify the circumstances under which the attack took place. No suspects have been arrested so far.
