A 21-year-old food delivery employee fell victim to a robbery in the early hours in Limassol when three unknown individuals immobilised him, beat him and stole money from his vehicle. The case is being investigated by the authorities, according to Philenews.
The incident took place at approximately 1 a.m. The young man was driving in the city when three individuals riding motor scooters approached him. The perpetrators stopped the vehicle, opened the driver's door, pulled him out and beat him. They then grabbed €1,800 from the vehicle's drawer and disappeared heading towards an unknown location.
The victim was transported by ambulance to the General Hospital of the city. Doctors established that he had injuries to his face, provided him with medical care and allowed him to leave.
The Limassol Traffic Police is conducting an investigation to locate those responsible.
