Stabbing outside club in Agia Napa: three injured, 21-year-old Israeli arrested
Three people were stabbed at 4:30 a.m. outside a nightclub in Agia Napa. A 21-year-old Israeli was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

A 21-year-old Israeli was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a violent altercation at 4:30 a.m. outside a nightclub in Agia Napa, according to Politis. Three people were stabbed and a fourth was injured on the head.
The Israeli and his 22-year-old friend are reported to have become involved in a row with a young Cypriot. When two Cypriot security guards intervened to separate those involved, the 21-year-old drew a knife and wounded the young Cypriot, the two guards and accidentally his own friend.
One guard was stabbed in the abdominal area and underwent surgery — his condition is considered stable. The second received knife wounds to the right leg. The third injured person sustained blunt force trauma, whilst the Israeli's friend was wounded on the head and face.
All four were transferred to Famagusta General Hospital. The condition of the 22-year-old with sharp object wounds is considered serious, whilst a 25-year-old and 41-year-old sustained minor injuries.
According to police, as officers approached, the 21-year-old insulted them, resulting in him facing additional charges of public insult, causing anxiety and breach of the peace.
A knife was found at the scene and seized as evidence. The case is being investigated by Famagusta CID.
