Three unknown men on scooters attacked a 21-year-old delivery driver in Limassol in the early hours of Wednesday. The perpetrators stole a sum of money and injured the young man in the face.
Young food delivery driver attacked and robbed in Limassol
Three unknown men attacked and robbed a 21-year-old food delivery driver in Limassol in the early hours of Wednesday, according to a police announcement.
The incident occurred at approximately 1:00 in the morning. The young man was inside his vehicle when three suspects driving scooters approached him. The perpetrators forcibly opened the car door, pulled the driver out and beat him. They then took €1,800 from inside the vehicle and fled.
The victim was transported by ambulance to Limassol General Hospital, where he received first aid for injuries to his face. He was later discharged.
Limassol Police Directorate is investigating the case. No arrests have been announced so far.
