Nighttime police operations in Cyprus: 10 arrests and 95 speeding offences
Ten people were arrested and 554 vehicles were checked during nighttime police operations in urban areas of Cyprus.

Ten people were arrested during nighttime operations in urban areas, according to reports by the Cyprus Mail. The offences include impersonation, illegal residence, assault, and unlawful possession of tobacco products.
Authorities stopped 554 vehicles and checked the drivers and 168 passengers. Seven drivers were reported for driving under the influence of alcohol and two for driving under the influence of drugs. Ninety-five drivers were recorded for exceeding the speed limit and nine vehicles were seized.
During the checks, 291 people were reported for traffic violations, whilst eight were found with outstanding traffic offence warrants. Police also inspected premises and issued four reports.
