The police have completed their investigative work into Marino Sizopoulou and are preparing to submit their findings to the Legal Service.

Police press spokesman Vyronas Vyronos announced that the investigation into former EDEK President Marino Sizopoulou has been completed. The findings will be sent to the Legal Service within the coming days, after first being reviewed by the police's legal team.
The case opened in 2025, based on findings issued by inspectors from the Independent Authority against Corruption in September. Those conclusions included suspicions of violations connected with a share sale transaction of TAXAN Properties company. Alleged forgery of a signature on a related document had also been cited.
Mr Vyronos stated to CYPA that all individuals involved were called in to give statements. When asked whether the report contains specific recommendations for criminal prosecutions, he replied that the Legal Service would assess the file.
In response to a question about whether examinations or expert assessments were conducted regarding the alleged forgery, the spokesman did not provide details, but noted that all necessary procedures were carried out to investigate the matter.
The case remains under investigation.
