Arrest of 20-year-old in Nicosia over two kilograms of cannabis from courier
Police have arrested a 20-year-old in Nicosia after locating a package containing approximately two kilograms of cannabis at a courier company.

As reported by Cyprus Mail, police have arrested a 20-year-old in Nicosia after locating a package containing approximately two kilograms of cannabis that was set to be delivered to him via courier service.
Officers attended a courier company in the capital, which had received the package following its dispatch from abroad. When the young man appeared to collect the parcel, he was immediately taken into custody.
During a search of his person, approximately two grammes of cannabis were found.
The accused is expected to be referred to the Nicosia District Court. Police are continuing their investigations into the case.
