A 41-year-old man was arrested on Saturday in Larnaca, who is accused of attempted robbery at a bank branch and theft of vehicle registration plates. The offences are alleged to have been committed on 19 June in Larnaca district.
The arrest was made under a court warrant on Saturday afternoon by police. The suspect was already being held in connection with another investigated case of attempted robbery at a jewellery store, also in Larnaca district.
The case is being investigated jointly by the Larnaca Crime Detection Department and Kition Police Station.
