Three men aged 23, 21 and 18 are being held for investigation following a complaint from an elderly man about break-ins and removal of equipment from vacant houses.

Police in Limassol proceeded yesterday with the arrest of three individuals aged 23, 21 and 18, who have been detained to facilitate investigations into a series of break-ins at properties.
The case began on 3 July 2026, when a 67-year-old reported to police that unknown persons had broken into three vacant houses that he manages. From the properties, five refrigeration units, compressors and solar water heaters were removed.
According to the complainant, he spotted a parked vehicle near the properties that contained air-conditioning unit boxes. At the same time, he saw an unfamiliar person running away from the scene.
Following investigation, authorities gathered evidence against the three suspects. Relevant arrest warrants were issued and the young men were apprehended. Pissouri Police Station is conducting further investigation.
