A 21-year-old Israeli was arrested for attempted murder following a knife attack outside a nightclub in Ayia Napa in the early hours of Wednesday, according to Cyprus Mail.

Police were called to the scene at approximately 4:30 a.m. following reports of a quarrel outside the establishment. Four injured persons were found at the scene and were transported to Ammochostos General Hospital for treatment.

According to investigations, the 21-year-old and a 22-year-old companion engaged in a verbal altercation with a young Cypriot outside the nightclub.
