Three people were arrested during a nighttime police operation at entertainment venues in Famagusta district. Of these, two were arrested for offences relating to illegal employment and one for unlawful possession and use of narcotic substances.
The operation was carried out on Friday evening and continued until shortly after midnight on Saturday. During the operation, police officers stopped and checked a number of cars and motorcycles, resulting in the filing of twelve traffic complaints for various offences.
At one of the nightclubs, officers located and arrested two people for illegal employment. A third person was arrested for unlawful possession and use of narcotics.
