Police have arrested three people in Nicosia in connection with a case involving conspiracy, fraudulent property transactions and the preparation of documents without authorisation.

Three people are being held in custody in Nicosia as police investigate a case involving conspiracy to commit fraud, unlawful transfer of real property and the drafting of documents without lawful authorisation.
The case came to light on 15 June 2026, when two people aged 61 and 63 approached the authorities. These two citizens claimed that a property belonging to them in an area of the capital had been unlawfully transferred to another person without their permission being sought.
Following the subsequent investigation, detectives gathered evidence against a 56-year-old woman. She was arrested on 18 June and brought the same day before the Nicosia District Court, where an order was issued for eight days of remand.
Subsequently, evidence emerged against two further suspects, aged 62 and 76. Their arrests took place on 21 and 22 June, on the basis of court warrants issued to facilitate the investigation.
The 62-year-old was presented yesterday before the Nicosia District Court and placed on eight-day remand. The 76-year-old was brought today to the same court, where a similar remand order was issued.
