A 55-year-old passenger was physically attacked in Prague metro. The incident occurred on Wednesday, 10 June, between Florenc and Křižíkova stations in the direction of Černý Most.
An unidentified perpetrator attempted to steal a rucksack from the woman whilst travelling. When she refused to release her belongings, the man attacked her. Police have not disclosed details about the manner of the assault.
Police informed the public about the case only now and are simultaneously asking the public for assistance. They are seeking witnesses to the event who could provide information leading to the apprehension of the perpetrator. Witnesses can contact the emergency line 158.
According to available information, police have not yet detained any suspects. The case remains under investigation.
