Czech newspapers report that police officers charged one person with murder in the case of the discovery of human body parts in Kynšperk nad Ohří in the Sokolov district. They also submitted a motion to place the accused in custody.
Police have not yet disclosed the identity of the charged person. They face a prison sentence ranging from 15 to 20 years, or possibly an exceptional sentence.
Criminal investigators have been handling the case since Wednesday. The case was confirmed on Thursday by regional police spokesperson Jakub Kopřiva.
