Police investigating the case involving fighter Karlos Vémola have discovered that a group planned to smuggle a drug consignment weighing approximately one hundred kilogrammes to Russia.
Investigators working on the case are using contents from encrypted communications platforms Sky ECC and EncroChat. These tools were popular among members of organised crime before security forces broke into them and gained access to their contents.
The case concerns drug trafficking and international smuggling. Specific charges and the extent of the network to which Vémola was allegedly part belong to the ongoing criminal proceedings.
