Munich police have arrested a 17-year-old German who is suspected of seriously injuring a 16-year-old during a confrontation at Harras. The incident occurred on Wednesday evening in a fast-food restaurant.

According to preliminary findings, a dispute broke out between the suspect and his younger opponent. In the course of the confrontation, the 16-year-old sustained a serious injury to the upper body. The victim is now out of danger.

The 17-year-old is already known to investigators. He had previously been the subject of proceedings for violent offences, property damage and assault. The arrest was made on Thursday around midday. A judge issued a warrant for the young man's arrest on Friday.
