A 50-year-old woman attacked a 60-year-old man with a kitchen knife in Munich's Berg am Laim district. Police are investigating on suspicion of attempted manslaughter.

Woman attacks ex-partner with kitchen knife in Berg am Laim
In Munich's Berg am Laim district, a 50-year-old woman attacked and injured her 60-year-old partner with a kitchen knife. The incident occurred on Saturday at around 6 p.m. at the man's residential accommodation, as reported by the Süddeutsche Zeitung.
According to police, the two were in what is known as an on-off relationship. During an argument, the woman suddenly grabbed a kitchen knife lying nearby and stabbed the man. In doing so, she struck him, among other places, in the abdominal area.
Despite his injuries, the man was still able to call the emergency services himself. Emergency responders transported him to a hospital, where he received treatment. According to police, there is no acute danger to his life.
Officers arrested the woman at the scene. On Sunday, she was brought before a judge. The public prosecutor's office is investigating her on suspicion of attempted manslaughter.
