It is believed to involve several thousand tickets and hotel reservations that were passed on internally to selected individuals.
The justice authority in Frankfurt am Main is investigating on suspicion of organised acceptance of benefits. Investigators suspect that the association gave preferential treatment to certain contacts and received counter-benefits in return.
