On the 25th day of the trial against alleged Munich attacker Farhad N., former work colleagues of the defendant testified as witnesses. The 24-year-old, who is said to have driven a car into a demonstration at Rosenheimer Platz in the Bavarian state capital on 13 February, must now wear ankle monitors in the courtroom.

In the incident at Rosenheimer Platz, more than forty people were injured and two women died. The public prosecutor's office accuses Farhad N. of murder and attempted murder in multiple cases. The native Afghan is said to have pledged allegiance to the Islamic State before the attack.
