Turkish Mafia Raids Cocaine Taxis and Drug Bunkers in German Cities
Young Turkish mafia gangs steal drugs, money and customer data in targeted raids. Leader "Cowboy" is said to control the group from underground by telephone.

Fugitive Mafia Boss Steers Gang from Hiding
According to BILD, young Turkish mafia gangs in Berlin and other German cities are conducting targeted raids on cocaine taxis and drug bunkers. The perpetrators steal drugs, cash and customer data in the process. At the centre of investigations is Koray T., known as "Cowboy" – a fugitive mafia boss who apparently controls his group by telephone from a distance.
BILD has conducted months of research according to its own account and evaluated more than 10,000 pages of investigative files. Two crown witnesses from the group "Caspers" describe the internal structures, money flows and daily life of this criminal organisation.
The gang deliberately targets other criminals – a pattern that presents investigators with particular challenges, as victims typically do not report assaults to police. How high the actual amounts stolen are remains unclear from the information known so far.
