A 35-year-old Vietnamese national suspected of committing a murder in Germany has been arrested in Warsaw.

Warsaw police have arrested a 35-year-old Vietnamese national suspected of committing a murder in Greiz, Germany. The arrest was made on Wednesday on Kraków Avenue in a building in the Polish capital.
The man was apprehended by the Section for Combating Criminal Terrorism and Murders of Warsaw Police. He had been issued a search warrant by German police several days earlier. According to German media reports, the victim is believed to be a 20-year-old Vietnamese woman.
Polish investigators obtained their information as part of cooperation with the International Police Cooperation Office of the Polish Main Police Directorate. They were assisted by officers from the Department for Search and Personal Identification.
The District Court in Warsaw ordered a one-week remand in custody. This is to remain in effect until the necessary documentation is completed by German police.
