A witness claims to have heard her calling "help me" repeatedly. Despite the intervention of emergency services, she died around 5:15 a.m. Her sister and her 7-year-old nephew were present at the scene at the time of the incident.
According to police sources, an argument broke out between the victim and her sister, the child's mother, on the first floor of a building on the street. In order to defend his mother, the boy allegedly seized a knife found in the bathroom of the flat and stabbed his aunt in the throat.
The Créteil prosecutor's office confirmed the opening of an investigation into murder, entrusted to the judicial police. According to Le Parisien, investigators initially considered the possibility of a murder staged by an adult, placing the child's mother in custody. This hypothesis was ultimately ruled out in favour of holding the minor responsible.
