Police in Volos made three arrests for possession of narcotic substances, including cocaine and pills without medical prescription.

Three individuals were recently arrested in Volos, accused of illegal possession of psychotropic substances. The arrests were made in separate cases and by different police services.
The first operation was carried out by officers from the Division for the Prosecution and Investigation of Crimes. A 28-year-old man was apprehended after a search revealed he was carrying a package containing heroin. The weight of the substance was less than one gramme. The narcotics were seized and a case file was opened against him.
In a separate operation, a team from the OPKE Volos stopped a couple travelling on a motorcycle. The 36-year-old driver was in possession of white powder, which was identified as cocaine. The quantity was approximately half a gramme. The 41-year-old passenger had six pills on her that were not accompanied by a legitimate medical authorisation.
All three cases resulted in the preparation of case files for violation of provisions governing narcotics.
