The brother of the Polish professor murdered a year ago in Agia Paraskevi is in Greece and is appealing for the victim's twin children to travel to Poland.
The case took a tragic turn when the 39-year-old wife of the professor, who had been arrested as the perpetrator of the murder, took her own life in Korydallos prison. Lukasz Gieziórski, the brother of the victim, arrived urgently in our country on Saturday evening and met with the children.
In a post, the brother of the murdered man expressed his wish to take the twins with him to Poland, where they would be close to the rest of the family. As he states, the children are very attached to him and wish to leave for their homeland as soon as possible.
"The situation is dramatic – primarily for the children. I do not know what else needs to happen for their departure to be permitted. I am literally begging for permission to be granted," wrote Lukasz Gieziórski.
According to him, the 8-year-old Angelos, who took him by the hand, pleaded with him to take him along, saying that he no longer wishes to be here. The little girl, Zoe, wishes to see the kittens that were born three days ago.
