Two people, one of whom is a minor, have been arrested by the authorities in connection with a drug trafficking case. According to information, the group had set up a network for sending illegal substances from Athens to Crete, using courier services.
Parcels containing drugs were sent via a courier company and subsequently collected by recipients through parcel locker boxes. This method was apparently chosen to avoid the direct identification of those involved.
Police authorities proceeded to arrest both individuals, whilst the investigation continues to determine whether there are other members of the network. The fact that one of those arrested is a minor adds even greater seriousness to the case.
