Two arrests in Koropi for illegal weapons and drugs
On Saturday, 13 June, in the morning, officers from Koropi Police Station carried out an operation at residences in the Koropi area. The result of the operation was the arrest of two Greek nationals, aged 56 and 27.
The two men face multiple charges. Specifically, they are accused of violations concerning the possession and trafficking of narcotic substances, illegal possession of weapons, breach of provisions on personal data, as well as violations of the Customs Code. Additionally, they are charged with the offence of receiving and disposing of products derived from criminal activity.
During the searches at the two men's homes, preliminary operations led to the discovery and seizure of quantities of drugs, weapons and other items connected with the investigated offences.
After the preliminary investigative procedures were completed, the two arrested individuals were brought before the competent Prosecutor.
