Police search for 18-year-old Rikárdó Lunka on suspicion of murder
The Monor Police Captaincy is searching for a man born in Kistarcsá in 2007, against whom the Budapest Metropolitan Court of Justice has issued a warrant for arrest on charges of manslaughter. The suspect was already pursued in his teenage years for an attempted similar offence.
Police search for 18-year-old Rikárdó Lunka on suspicion of murder
The Monor Police Captaincy is investigating an 18-year-old man from Kistarcsá, who is suspected of manslaughter – according to 444. The Budapest Metropolitan Court of Justice's penal enforcement body issued a decision on 9 June 2026 regarding the detention of Rikárdó Lunka, born in 2007.
The investigating authority is asking members of the public who have any information about the suspect's current situation or whereabouts to contact the police.
This is not the first time the young man has had dealings with the authorities. Three years ago, at just 15 years old, he was already being sought in another case, in which he was accused of attempted homicide.
