Carabinieri of Venturina Terme have arrested a 40-year-old and reported a 20-year-old for possession and dealing in narcotic substances.

The Carabinieri of Venturina Terme Station, in the course of an operation aimed at combating the traffic of narcotic substances in Val di Cornia, have arrested a 40-year-old man and reported a 20-year-old youth.
Both are under investigation for possession and dealing in drugs. During the house search carried out at the residence of the 40-year-old, the officers found and seized a considerable quantity of narcotics: more than 3.3 kilogrammes of hashish, approximately 500 grammes of cannabis, almost 300 grammes of cocaine and a small quantity of crack.
In addition to the drugs, €8,200 in cash was confiscated, believed to be the probable proceeds of dealing activity. Two notebooks were also seized containing notes that could provide useful information to reconstruct the methods of drug distribution.
