Murder in Turin: suspect admits killing but denies remembering strangulation

Turin, arrested man admits killing but does not remember strangulation
According to ANSA Cronaca, Christian Matheus De Oliveira Morando told the preliminary investigation judge that he killed Fabio Colapietro, whilst claiming he did so unintentionally. "Yes, I killed him, but unintentionally. Certainly it was not planned, it happened during a row while we had been taking drugs for days," defence lawyer Wilmer Perga said, relaying his client's words.
Colapietro's body was found in pieces two nights ago in a flat in Turin. The judge allegedly asked the suspect whether he had squeezed the victim's neck with his arm, hypothesising a possible cause of death. "He says he absolutely does not remember, and then they performed mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and heart massage on him," the defence lawyer added.
