A man has been presented to judges as the suspected accomplice in a home invasion carried out in 2015 in Dudelange, where three criminals broke into the home of a jewellery shop assistant to obtain the access codes for the Wagner jewellery store.

An individual suspected of having participated in a home invasion carried out ten years ago in Dudelange has been brought before magistrates. The events date back to 2015, when three masked men broke into the home of an employee of the Wagner jewellery store.
On the evening of the burglary, the victim and her former partner were ambushed on their return home, around 6 p.m. The attackers bound them in the living room and held them prisoner until after 4 a.m. One of the two hostages attempted to resist and received a blow from a gun butt to the head.
The criminals were waiting for the crowd to thin out at the Why Not café, located near the jewellery store, in order to gain access to the shop. An accomplice who remained with the victims had informed his associates that the moment was not yet opportune.
The investigation led to the arrest of a suspect ten years after the events. He now appears before the court for his alleged role in this raid aimed at seizing the keys and codes of the jewellery store.
