Luxembourg: police apprehend multiple shoplifters
Two shoplifting incidents were dealt with by law enforcement on Monday, one in the Station district and the other in Foetz.
Luxembourg: police apprehend multiple shoplifters
Officers of the Grand-Ducal police brought an end to two merchandise theft operations on Monday afternoon, according to a report by Le Quotidien.
In the first case, a security guard at a shop located in the Station district thwarted an attempt to steal a clothing item. The individual caught in the act was handed over to the authorities. During a search, the latter discovered a limited quantity of illicit substances on his person.
In the second incident, three individuals stole products from a large retailer in Foetz. The perpetrators fled the scene but were quickly apprehended by patrols. All of the stolen items were recovered and returned to the establishment.
Law enforcement officers drew up reports against the suspects.
