In the night of 14 to 15 June, passers-by helped law enforcement apprehend an individual who had stolen a mobile phone on Avenue de la Liberté, in the Grand Duchy's capital.

Passers-by collaborated with law enforcement to apprehend a thief in the night of 14 to 15 June in Luxembourg. Near Rue Joseph-Junck, a police team noticed several people running after a man. Seeing the uniformed officers, they requested their assistance.
The officers then discovered that a robbery with violence had just occurred. The suspect had stolen a mobile phone from a person, who had given chase in the company of other witnesses. Thanks to this citizen mobilisation and police intervention, the stolen goods were recovered.
At the decision of the public prosecutor's office, proceedings were opened.
