A theft was committed on Friday afternoon in the Bonnevoie district in Luxembourg. The incident occurred at around 17:30 on rue Pierre-Maisonnet, according to Le Quotidien (https://lequotidien.lu/police-justice/des-femmes-distraient-un-homme-et-lui-volent-sa-chaine/).
The passenger was getting off a public transport bus when several women approached him. The assailants adopted a diversion strategy: they encircled their target with their arms to create a destabilising physical proximity. Taking advantage of this confusion, they stole the piece of jewellery the man was wearing around his neck.
As soon as he attempted to free himself from their grasp, the perpetrators fled. The police station was notified of the matter and opened an investigation to find those responsible for this theft by deception.
