Police officers from Gdynia have detained a twenty-five-year-old man who stored plastic bags containing banned substances in the freezer of his flat. The man was conducting a trade operation using a mobile phone. A court decided to remand him in custody for three months.

Officers from the Gdynia police unit have detained a twenty-five-year-old man suspected of storing and distributing banned substances. By court order, the man was remanded in custody for three months.
The operation was carried out as part of investigative activities. During an identity check, the detainee behaved anxiously, after which he voluntarily indicated that illegal preparations might be present in his premises.
Investigators searched the flat. Inside a refrigeration appliance they discovered plastic bags containing narcotics and psychotropic substances. An electronic scales was also found, which was most likely used to divide the goods into smaller portions.
In the further phase of proceedings, officers seized the mobile phone belonging to the suspect. An analysis conducted showed that the man had been conducting transactions with various customers using telephone conversations.
An inspection was carried out at the site with support from a specialist in forensic science. The detainee was transported to holding cells. The prosecutor requested remand in custody, and the court agreed, ordering a three-month stay in prison.
