Officers stopped an Audi driver and his passenger in Jaśle. During the chase through the city streets, the passenger threw banned substances from the vehicle.
The men were travelling in an Audi. Police officers attempted to intervene, but the driver did not stop for a check. While driving, the passenger threw drugs out of the window.
After several minutes, the driver drove into undergrowth and then began fleeing on foot. When exiting the vehicle, he failed to secure it against rolling. One of the officers had to use physical force to stop the car, which could have hit the police vehicle. After the vehicle came to a halt, he immediately pursued the fugitive and after running several hundred metres caught the man.
Officers went to the passenger's flat to check whether he was storing additional narcotic substances there. A 27-year-old was present in the apartment. During a search, officers found cannabis and amphetamine on him totalling close to 80 grammes, electronic scales, several dozen small plastic bags, and cash amounting to 4,000 złoty.
