The prosecution in Płock is conducting investigative proceedings into the death of a 46-year-old man that occurred during police action. Officers were called after receiving a report of a naked and bleeding man running in the street. After subduing the man and handcuffing him as he lay on the pavement, he suddenly stopped breathing.
In the flat of the deceased, officers secured cash in the amount of tens of thousands of złoty and substances that are very likely to be psychoactive agents. Samples will be sent to a laboratory for detailed analysis.
An autopsy was carried out in the presence of a prosecutor. A formal investigation will be launched in the near future. Currently, further investigative steps are underway to establish the exact course of events and the cause of death.
