The Évora Public Prosecution Department has adjourned to 8 June the reading of the judicial decision in the case in which a musician is accused of sexual crimes. The hearing was scheduled for this Tuesday, but a personal matter concerning the judge prevented it from taking place.
The artist, who is at liberty, is required to report to authorities twice a week. The judge also imposed a prohibition on contacting the minor who claims to have been a victim and a ban on using digital social media platforms.
The investigation dates back to July 2024, when the mother of a 12-year-old child filed a complaint with authorities. According to the complaint, the singer allegedly maintained conversations with the minor and requested intimate images. The contacts allegedly began after a social gathering where both families were present.
