The arrest took place during a routine PSP operation in that area of the capital. The authorities seized the narcotic substance that the suspects were carrying, in a significant quantity amounting to several thousand individual doses.
The two detainees, who had known each other since childhood, were subsequently brought before a court. The court imposed the most serious coercive measure, determining that both would be held in preventative custody.
