The operation mobilised 26 officers from the UCCF, the Territorial Post, the Intervention Detachment and the Criminal Investigation unit, supported by drones, vehicles and canine units. The intervention concluded with the detention of seven people of various nationalities and the seizure of several high-end vehicles.

The investigation has been handed over to the Portuguese Judicial Police.

The operation adds to a long series of drug seizures recorded in recent months on both the western coast of Huelva and the Portuguese Algarve, consolidating this border region as one of the main entry points for drugs from Morocco.
