The body created to combat fraud in public health administration, chaired by judge Carlos Alexandre, is examining a salary review at the Common Hospital Usage Service.
The salary update in question was approved in January 2023 by the institution's two managers, Paulo Sousa and Joel Azevedo. The pay increases affected the senior technician categories of the administrators themselves.
SUCH, which provides services to several public hospitals, is under the joint supervision of the Finance and Health portfolios. The CCF-SNS now seeks to determine whether the salary increase followed legal procedures or constitutes irregularity.
