Young man arrested in Lisbon for threatening ex-girlfriend with knife and possessing intimate images
A 19-year-old man was arrested by the PSP in Arroios, Lisbon, for threatening his former girlfriend with a spring-loaded knife. Officers also seized a mobile phone from him containing intimate photographs and videos of the victim.

A 19-year-old boy was arrested by the Public Security Police in the Arroios neighbourhood in Lisbon following reports from several people. The individual was near a restaurant, armed with a spring-loaded blade, and was making threats against his former partner, a 20-year-old woman.
The police operation took place at 17:30 on 30 June. Officers removed the white weapon from the suspect, the possession of which is punishable by law. In a search of the detainee, inspectors discovered photographs and recordings of the victim on his mobile device, all of a private nature.
The ex-partner was taken to Espaço Júlia, a PSP facility set up to support people who are victims of domestic violence. The incident was classified as involving heightened danger.
