Judicial Police arrested a 21-year-old man in flagrante delicto who fired shots at the façade of a house and was found in possession of narcotics intended for commercial purposes.

A 21-year-old man was caught in flagrante delicto by the Judicial Police as part of an investigation by the Criminal Investigation Department of Setúbal. The individual is accused of having fired several shots at the façade of a residential property, of possessing a prohibited firearm and of engaging in the trade of narcotics.
The events that gave rise to the inquiry occurred on 10 April, at around two-thirty in the morning, in Sesimbra. At that time, the detainee fired shots at the residence of another man, with whom he had maintained a conflict for approximately two years.
After the shots were fired, PJ investigators carried out various procedures which culminated in a search of the suspect's house. During the search, officers collected various items of evidence, among which a considerable quantity of drugs intended for commercial sale. This discovery prompted the arrest in flagrante delicto of the young man.
Brought before a judge, the defendant, who already has a record of similar offences, was remanded in custody. The inquiry is being handled by the DIAP of Sesimbra.
