Four arrested at Lisbon airport for drug trafficking
The Judicial Police detained four individuals at Lisbon airport who were carrying more than 49 kilograms of cannabis and hashish in their baggage, and were remanded in custody.

Four people have been remanded in custody after being arrested at Lisbon airport for transporting narcotic substances. In total, the Judicial Police (PJ) seized 49.2 kilograms of cannabis and a large quantity of hashish.
The drugs came from an Asian country and were destined for an African country. Among those detained are two men aged 29 and 46, and two women aged 26 and 35. Three are foreign nationals and were carrying cannabis leaves and flowers sufficient for approximately 20,000 doses. The other, a Portuguese national, had hashish sufficient for 25,000 doses.
The PJ explained that the arrests are part of investigations aimed at preventing and combating international drug trafficking through the airport.
The four suspects were questioned by a judge and remanded in custody.
