A security forces operation in the Setúbal area led to the capture of three people linked to the drugs business. The detainees, aged between 20 and 43, were remanded in custody after being heard by a judicial magistrate.

The operation took place over several days in the previous week, forming part of an ongoing investigation process. PSP inspectors carried out a search at a residence, where they found and seized a range of materials related to trafficking.

Among the items confiscated were 2,316 units of crack cocaine, 59 units of hashish, four bottles containing ammonia and an electronic scales, according to information provided to Observador.

The seizure also extended to a shotgun, seven bullets and €1,680 in notes and coins.

The case remains under the jurisdiction of Setúbal's Department of Investigation and Criminal Action.
