A male person of interest in the murder of Brazilian national Jady Cristine Pereira Rosa, who was killed in her Limerick city apartment on the morning of Friday, 21 August, has been found dead in recent days, An Garda Síochána has confirmed.

Ms Pereira Rosa, also aged in her 30s, was found dead at an apartment on Lower Cecil Street, Limerick City. Gardaí have since formally launched a murder investigation into the circumstances of her death.
